About

Adventist Christian Fellowship Group Dinner

According to current estimates, approximately 80 percent of college-age Adventist students who attend institutions of higher education within the United States choose not to attend Adventist colleges and universities, opting instead for education at public institutions.

Advancing Resources for Campus Ministries (ARC) traces its origins to 2011. ARC’s founders, a group of Seventh-day Adventist lay people, are dedicated to working with the Seventh-day Adventist Church to provide financial, emotional, and moral support to help these students fulfill their potential as representatives of Christ in public institutions of higher education.

Who ARC Supports

ARC supports various Adventist Christian Fellowship (ACF) groups across the United States. ARC works independently of, but in partnership with, ACF, the umbrella organization for public college ministry for the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists.

ARC welcomes applications from students and groups affiliated with Adventist Christian Fellowships as listed below.  On an emergency basis, ARC has also provided limited financial support to individual students affiliated with Adventist Christian Fellowships.

How ARC Supports

  • Funding initiatives to develop and provide workshops and training materials for college students, campus ministers, and churches.

  • Funding ministry events for college students.

  • Providing scholarships for students training to be leaders in campus ministry.

  • Funding training and ministry opportunities for campus chaplains and interns.

  • Assisting Adventist churches and conferences in the acquisition and maintenance of property to develop a long-term ministry presence on non-Adventist campuses.

  • Recognizing campus ministry leaders through annual Ronald Pickell Award for Outstanding Campus Ministry Leadership.

What You Can Do

Prayer and financial donations are not the only ways you can help ARC promote public campus ministry. You can join or start a local Adventist Christian Fellowship or become a champion of public campus ministry by joining ARC’s board.
